Short Film Fund and Organizing Campaigns
Docs In Action offers funding and distribution to short documentaries that explore topics of social and environmental justice. Through Docs In Action, we provide finishing funds to makers of short documentaries, and we curate and tour short films with partners who are directly impacted by and leading change on the issues at hand.
Our current Docs In Action campaigns include Beyond Walls, Stories Beyond Borders and Revisioning Recovery. The 2023 Docs In Action call for media, Worker Rights, is focused on amplifying the current wave of worker-led organizing. Our partners include: Amazon Labor Union, North Carolina AFL-CIO, Starbucks Workers United, Union of Southern Service Workers, and United Farm Workers. Check out the 2023 recipients here.
