As part of the Poor People’s Campaign, beginning Monday June 4th the Rise Up Roadshow will be hitting the road! Join us at one of the stops along the route of the proposed fracked gas Atlantic Coast Pipeline, for a night of art, film, storytelling, and Action! Join us to uplift the future that we want to see and learn how to defeat the things we need to leave behind!
These free events are hosted by Appalachian Voices, Concerned Citizens of Northampton County, Eco-Robeson, Friends of the Earth, NC Climate Justice Collective, NC Environmental Justice Network, Rachel Carson Council, Winyah Rivers Foundation, and Working Films.
The five events will feature art, cantastoria style storytelling with large banners, and a screening of the new film Robeson Rises, which documents the story of activists in Robeson County standing up against the ACP.
